On the 22nd May, the Robert Bruce course at Trump Turnberry hosted the 10th annual McCrae Financial Golf Day.
The annual event raises money for worthy cause, with the British Heart Foundation Scotland the chosen charity for this years event and 19 teams enjoyed 18 rounds of Golf in the sunshine.
Event sponsors Pike & Bambridge provided a top of the range Range Rover Evoque, priced at £40,000 as the Hole In One prize on the 2nd hole. A challenge from a reachable 153 yards as the prize hole added some excitement to the tee!
Team Royal London won the day ahead of runners up Vanilla Square in a close contest! With over 100 professional league goals to his name, Ayr United’s Kris Doolan was always going to be competitive. He won the longest drive competition, with Steven King winning a nearest to the pin challenge. Alongside Hole In One prizes, nearest the pin & longest drive – the event also had a Beat the Pro hole!
